Behind the Curtain

I live on an island, so environmental issues are really obvious.  What do we do with our trash?  How can we recycle more?  What can be made here instead of shipped in?  The lessons learned on an island apply to the whole world now.

I am a wife and a mom.  I want the best possible future for my family, so I am reaching out.  My hope is to bring to light something you hadn’t heard about, provide a listing of places to go to find more information, and have fun along the way.

I have studied Waldorf Education and Rudolph Steiner, Permaculture, Korean Natural Farming, Biodynamic Farming, Organic Farming, Whole Food Cooking, Photography, Writing and Graphic Design.  My work experience includes coconut tree climbing; plant nursery tending (orchids, perennial and annual vegatables, bamboo, foliage plants, medicinal uses of plants and tropical fruits, flowers, trees, shrubs, and spices;) logo creation, internet graphic design, early childhood education, retail, restaurant, customer service, and so on and so on.  I enjoy life and learning new ways to navigate it.
